If you sign up to support the Ranch with a $20 a month commitment for 12 months, you will receive a free entry into the Soaring Wings Half Marathon. In addition, we’ll also give you a pass into our Soaring Wings Half Marathon VIP tent.

The VIP tent includes:

• Private restrooms
• Special food choices before and after the race
• Heated (in case of cold) waiting area
• Private gear check
• Post-race massage
• Extra Mile Program shirt

Or, would you like to help raise funds for Soaring Wings Ranch through your participation in the race? You can help support the Ranch by participating in the Extra Mile Program! Simply indicate that you are interested in the Extra Mile Program on the online race registration form, and we’ll send you all the details. We’re still working out the details on the incentives, but if you raise $100, you’ll receive a special Soaring Wings Extra Mile shirt. Help raise $250, and we’ll give you a pass for the VIP Tent on race day.

In the roughly 6 weeks that registration has been open, a great number of runners have signed up! We’ve far surpassed where we were at this point last year, and we expect that trend to continue. At this rate, we’ll get past that 1,000 runner registration limit well before race day.

On June 24th, the registration fee goes up to $40. Sign up before then to take advantage of the $30 early registration.

It’s hard to believe it, but registration for the 2009 Soaring Wings Half Marathon is now open!

Even though we’re still 6 months away from race day, be sure to register early to take advantage of the lower entry fee (just $30!). Also, there will be a limit on registrations this year, so the earlier you register the better.

Soaring Wings Ranch would like to invite you to Appreciation Day 2009, Saturday, April 25 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to visit the Ranch and see what this great ministry is all about. Lunch will be provided, and there will be tours of the campus, a hay ride, pony rides, bounce house, and more.

You will also be able to register for the 2009 Soaring Wings Half Marathon at Appreciation Day 2009. All who register on-site Saturday will receive a special gift!

Believe it or not, it’s time to get ready for the 2009 Soaring Wings Half Marathon!

The race will be held on Saturday, October 24th, starting at 8:00 AM. We had a great time in 2008, and this year should be even better! Because of the great turnout and interest in this year’s race, we’re putting a 1,000 runner registration limit in place. This will allow us to provide a great event and helps ensure we don’t overload the course or the venue. Register early to guarantee your place!

Registration will open on April 24th. Early registration will be $30 again this year and this will be the price for two months. On June 24th, the registration fee will go up to $40. The Soaring Wings Half Marathon is a great value!
